I just finished my last one...bummer. I think I could figure it out, but was just wondering if anyone had an actual recipe? Thanks!

I didn't ask the question, but thanks for the recipe! I tried one of these for the first time in July and I thought it would be gross, but I loved it! I will have to try making one at home.:woohoo:

I wrote this article, and am so glad to see people getting some use out of it! If you have any questions, let me know. I made these at home and they were much easier than I expected.

Well, my mouth thanks you but my stomach doesn't....LOL We will now have to try these for ourselves....LOVE Tigger Tails!!!!!! Thank YOU! :)

i think i want to make smaller versions of this treat next time i make it....after just a few bites, we were ready to fall into a sugar coma!

maybe i'll make tigger tail "mini's", lol!!!

What a great article - I am sorry I didn't give credit where due! I had just saved the link the other day. They are so darling looking, but I haven't tried to make them yet. Although I am more motivated to work the kitchen for this outcome than say, a normal dinner for my family! :rotfl:

O MY GOODNESS ! This is GREAT information. I LOVE TiggerTails!

Thanks Mugglemama for writing it =)

yummy! Thanks for writing this recipe, Mugglemama! And also to the OP for posting the topic. My DD loves these.

i'm just glad people actually wanted the info, lol. when i first wrote it, i wondered. but it looks like i wasn't the only one who wanted to bring disneyland snacks home!!!

You know, I bet this would work... you could use mini marshmallows on 6 inch wooden skewers, which are smaller and thinner than lollipop sticks. Or you might be able to find the larger sized toothpicks, 4 inch ones.

I noticed the same thing-- I loved the DL Tigger Tails, but I could only eat about 2 bites. It would be really cute to make the minis!

Thanks for the recipe!:thumbsup2

Oh THANK YOU so much!! I too, thought I would not like tigger tails, but I just loved it!! Thankfully for my waistline I didn't try one until the day before we left, but we did go back the last day and buy a few!!

Can't wait to try the recipe!! Thanks Again!!

yep, i was thinking the same thing, to use mini marshmallows. and i think michaels might actually carry smaller lollipop sticks. maybe?

i also thought about changing the colors around and making these to match different birthday party themes. like pink and purple for disney princess parties, blue and red for spiderman, etc.

i noticed while i made them, that when i got the orange coating on, i just felt like i had really messed them up and wasn't doing it right. but as soon as i started the chocolate stripes, they started to look SO great, and it was obvious that they had turned out really well.

so if anyone here makes them, and thinks towards the end that they're not working out, just wait till you get to the stripes, and it all falls into place. :)

Mugglemama-

I have been trying to open the link to your article/recipe for Tigger Tails in a couple different threads but the link never works.
I can't e-mail you yet as I don't have enough posts so I'm making a plea to you on the boards - would you post your recipe for Tigger Tails?

Thank you,

Robin

I second that Mugglemamma, I couldn't open the link either, if you get an opportunity we would appreciate you reposting the recipe here. thank you :goodvibes

Just google *Tigger Tail Recipe* several responses will come up - mugglemama's recipe is the associated content one - I made them and they're great, should make some more for our upcoming visit to DLR.

I made them for my son's Winnie the Pooh themed birthday party last month. They were easy and delicious! I used homemade caramel since the storebought caramels often have gluten and I have celiac disease so it was a bit more involved, but they were still pretty easy.

I did a search for Tigger Tail Recipe but do not know what an "associated content" post would be. Any link I have found to Mugglemamas article/recipe does not open up for me.

Would anyone have the recipe they could share?

Thank you,

Robin
