Has anyone asked the chef for the recipe they use to make their dairy/egg free Mickey waffles?

I know one chef said there was honey in them...would love to recreate them at home but never remembered to ask while we were there!

They do them differently at different locations.

They use Bob's Red Mill pancake mix or Namaste pancake mix or a combination of both.

For a milk substitute they use rice milk or apple juice or water (I don't believe any of them use soy milk because too many are allergic to it).

For an egg substitute they use Ener-G egg replacer or apple sauce.

There may be other things that are used but these are the different things I know of. At home we use apple juice and apple sauce because we like the taste.

We make Mickey Waffles at home all the time with our Mickey Waffle Iron!

I use flour, sugar, soy milk, applesauce, vanilla and a pinch of baking powder and they come out wonderful!

We have also used super ripe bananas instead of applesauce and it comes out wonderfully!
