Does any one have the recipe for the toffr you make with saltine crackers?

I can not find mine

Thanks Kae

I forgot all about these. So easy and evil good. I've heard you can use grahams too.

Cracker Toffee Cookies

1 one sleeve of saltine crackers
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
one 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
chopped almonds (optional)

Preheat oven to 400.

Line cookie sheet/jelly roll pan with aluminum foil, and butter it generously.

Place the crackers in an even layer on the pan, as many as you can fit. It's OK to break some to completely cover the pan.

Bring butter and sugar to a boil in a saucepan and cook the syrup for 3 minutes while stirring constantly.

Pour syrup over the crackers and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. As the chips melt, spread them evenly to coat the toffee. Sprinkle almonds on top, if desired. Cool completely and break/cut into pieces.

I forgot this easy one too. But ya gotta stand by the oven with no distraction. It is yummy with graham crackers and being from the south I use pecans

OMG! I was just coming here to post this same question. WOW it's amazng how great minds think alike!

Thanks to 1stNoel for posting the recipe!
