Recessional Music? What did you have?

Recessional - completely unsure about this. We want something, fun, upbeat...and unique. Some songs we have considered:

Zip a Dee Doo Dah
Forever - Kiss (DF ...closet KISS fan)
Forever In Blue Jeans - Neil Diamond(me...closet Neil Diamond fan)
Happy Together - Turtles
Neil Young - Harvest Moon
Cat Stevens - Can't Keep It In
Jeans On - Dave Dundas (inside joke)
You Sexy Thing - Hot Chocolate (we are old)


What did you have? Has anyone picked a recessional song that they didn't think worked in action? Did you have one that was just perfect?

Haven't had our wedding yet but these are the songs we have choose...

When they pronounce us husband and wife, we will exit to Stevie wonder-Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours, then the guests will exit on Frank Sinatra-Fly me to the moon or Toy Story-You got a friend in me.

Zip a dee doo dah for the Recessional because it is such a fun, happy tune. When we are pronounced "husband & wife", we have requested that the violinist play the Darth Vader-Imperial Death March music. This will go along with the ball & chain being placed on my ankle!!

I also really love the Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah song too! I didn't even think of this for my recessional music, and I definitely want to keep mine Disney. It's such a fun and classic song.

Will all the music be played by the instruments or is there a sound system in there?

We were thinking of using "Ever Ever After" from Enchanted also... but I can't imagine how it would sound on an organ

Does anyone know if there is a file or if Disney can provide the audio for the end of Fantasmic? I think that is an awesome idea for the recessional!

You are not obligated to use the organist at the WP...there's a sound system and disney provides a tech to manage the songs (included in the price)...we are not a fan of the organ and are going with the sound system.

Is there a post with all of the ceremony music? I am having such a hard time planning what songs to use and need direction!

Has anyone had the guitarist?

I would like fun, different music wherever possible.
