Instead of a regular slide show during our reception, I thought it would be fun to put the images on a View-Master slide reel, and have a View-Master be passed around. Has anyone done this before? I'd like to know what company you worked with to get those images made.

Thanks! :)

we made a dvd of photos of us growing up & then of us dating on our computer using intervideo dvd maker, we added music too. we played this on a tv/dvd at our prereception at marthas vineyard, our families got a kick out of all the photos.

The dvd sounds like a good idea too. :) At our wedding we're having a lot of fun nostalgic items like old tin toys, candy jars, a cookie/dessert/cupcake bar with milk...etc. and I thought that the View-Masters would be a ton of fun and go along with everything else. :teeth: I'll just keep searching for a place that can make these for us.

I am planning to do the same thing... We are actually making our own video... my DF knows all about this program... SO I hope it comes out good...

:confused3 I've never heard of making your own viewmaster slides. Neat idea, though!

My DF and I have been searching today for sites that make these, and most of them make the slides for corporate events, or for restaurants that have their menus on the view master (like I think the 50's Prime Time does for the dessert menu). They ask you to put your photos in a particular format so that it can be turned into 3D images... which my fiance knows how to do. We found one company that we are going to go with... and I thought I'd post it in case someone else might like to use the idea. :)

We were thinking of doing a slide show at our reception too. We don't have a DVD burner or a program like what was mentioned on here, though. Does anyone know of anywhere you can create this for a reasonable price? Also, obviously our baby pictures aren't in a digital format. How do they turn out on the DVD? Is the quality ok? Do I just scan them and save them on a DVD at like Walgreens or Walmart or something? Thanks!

I really wanted a slide show at the reception, and I know of a couple ways I could make it. Does anyone know what sort of equipment Disney has to show something like this? (DVD, projector, etc) Also, how much do they charge for its use?

You will need to use a scanner to save it on your computer using photo shop or Paint Shop Pro or something like that, so that you can alter the size, and impove the color of old photos.
But really the easiest thing for you to do might be to take any photo negatives, or photos you have and go to your local kodak/camera shop and ask about having them either turn it into a DVD or a regular slide show. :)
