Reception Room choices

I am getting ready to book our wedding and am confused about the GF ballroom options. I have looked online at the meetings website, but am not getting a good feel for the size of the room I want. We are planning to have at least 150 people and are inviting around 250-300. My planner has sent me pictures of the Whitehall room, but it looks very small and also the patio doesnt seem like an option for me as we are having a night reception in Feb. What I am looking for is a elegant ballroom to fit everyone we are having, and also access to step outside and see the wishes fireworks. Any one have any ideas?

The whitehall room is on the smaller size , definately not for 150 people. They have ballrooms at the GF to accomodate about any size. There is a large center one that has a beautiful glass chandelier. There are several others as well. hth

I am also having a big wedding at GF, but Diane Mahoney-Brown (the coordinator that I have been working with) talked about doing the cocktail in the whitehall, and then the reception itself will be in the big ballrooms.
