My fiance and I are getting married in May 2014! We have been looking around for places to have a reception dinner (we are having an Escape wedding). We have looked at the Il Mulino but its kind of pricey (dont know if it worth it) just need some opinions and ideas

My opinion is that ALL the restaurants are pricey--some are just pricier than others, when it comes to Disney. ;)

That aside...I think if I could have a reception dinner anywhere, it'd be at Be Our Guest. I think you'd have a heck of a time getting in there with all your guests though.

My second choice would be the Wolfgang Puck Cafe in Downtown Disney. Prices are reasonable (for Disney), and they have some pretty good food. It's a casual/nice place...so I think it'd be a good place. It also really depends on the atmosphere you're going for. Are you looking for super nice?

we will be in our wedding attire. We also are trying to avoid restaurants in the parks due to paying to get everyone in.

Do you want a private room? If so, I'd go with Jiko at AKL, or one of the rooms at California Grill or the private room at Citrico's.

If you don't need a private room and depending on how many people you'll have and where your ceremony is..I'd say Artist Point or Narcoossee's, Jiko or California Grill or Yachstman Steakhouse.

For a less pricey option I'd pick The Wave.

We had our reception at Citrico's at the GF.
It was fabulous - delicious food and excellent service!!!
It also has the advantage of being in the GF which is a great place for photos ;)
Good luck with you decision, and all your planning xx
