Reception at Summerhouse at GF

So after our (not-so-lengthy) reception tour at the Bridal Showcase, we have decided to possibly use the Summerhouse at GF as our reception. We have some great ideas, but wondering if anyone has any pics from their reception if they had one there.

Thoughts as well?

I think it's a very sweet location for an outdoor reception.

I've secured Summerhouse for my reception, and didn't realize that the beach comes with it till after I saw the LOA. Does anyone have better shots of the beach alongside the patio area? Just trying to imagine the combination of the beach with the open bar... Thanks in advance!

I only recognized it was the Summerhouse because it was the same decor in those two snapshots I'd been given. I'm glad I happened upon them, too!

Evening all!

I know this thread is pretty old but my question builds into the title so I figured to put it in here and have this thread get bumped instead of starting another similar one.

So we leaning toward a summer house reception now because we are planning to do WP or the marina as a ceremony spot, then by using summer house it would save our guests with traveling from place to place and honestly just fits our Cinderella theme plus the beach is a big plus so the kiddos can get some energy out running around, it'll work out nicely.

I don't know anything about the pricing though, since it's a patio and not sure where the food comes from or how it will work?

We are having the smaller scale wishes wedding with a 10am ceremony, so the recep at summer house will be for 3 hours after our ceremony. Incase this info helps for you guys to help me with info on this

It functions as a convention center location just like the Marina, so there is no venue rental fee. The food is done by the Grand Floridian catering team, and it's buffet-only. I think you mentioned you have the PassPorter—complete details and pricing are on page 85.

The food and beverage minimums are

• $1,000 for pre-receptions and dessert parties
• $1,500 for breakfast
• $2,250 for lunch
• $3,000 for dinner

A $600 food tent may be required to prepare custom menus.
