Reception at Narcoossee's

Has anyone had their day time wedding reception at Narcoossee's? Ive been in contact with our wedding consultant and we have decided on the WP for May 16th next year and would like to stay with the MK area. We considered the CG, but with not being able to menu taste, and not having much say on what we can serve is a downfall for us. Our consultant also suggested citricos for our reception, but having looked at pictures, were not thrilled with the overall ambiance of the restaurant. We like Narcoossee's b/c of the "casual" and rustic feeling of the restaurant. Does anyone else here have any suggestions? We thought the hard part would be the ceremony, turns out its the reception. Also..we do NOT want any ball room locations for our reception, and prefer it to be indoors due to the heat/humidity in mid may . Any pictures of weddings at any of these locations would be much appreciated too! Thanks

We were married at Disney's Wedding Pavilion 16 yrs. ago and stayed at the Grand Floridian because it was close to the pavilion for all the wedding preparations. Plus I think it's a beautiful atmosphere for a wedding. We have eaten at Narcoossee's many times and it's wonderful! We had a small wedding and went to Narcoossee's after for dinner. I think we will stick with Narcoossee's! I think deep down it's very "us" and we will be very happy with our decision! Thanks for the links and suggestions!

We LOVE Narcoossee's for dinner!! And the decor! And the food and the service!!

We also like the non-stuffiness of the place!

I think we may stick with having our reception at Narcoossee's. I think it will perfectly fit our needs. Of course, being just over a year out, our minds changing are still a possibility!!

We were told they wouldn't do a wedding reception at Narcoossee's anymore. We're just like you, we definitely liked the atmosphere there more than Citricos. Let me know if they tell you differently.

We were told while its not a preferred location, we are welcome to have out reception there if that's what we'd like! So I think we are sticking with it! (We were told this from our wedding consultant via email yesterday).

Yeah, the layout is not ideal for a party—kinda long and narrow and awkward—and those windows make photography tough, but if you're not bothered by those things, go for it!
