Reception AND menu card?

Hi ladies,

I have asked my floral planner via email, but I guess it's a busy week for them as I haven't heard back yet.

I am having my reception at the Grand Floridian and am wondering if they provide menu cards or if I should provide my own. Does anyone know?

(Also: Does anyone know how much the the cotton chair covers, bows, and napkins cost? I haven't recieved my floral BEO yet...but it's only been 2.5 weeks so I don't think I'll get it anytime soon...)

Hi! I am having my reception there as well and as far as I know, no menu cards are provided. You can bring your own or get them made (there are a few suggestions, including Impressions, on one of the planning sheets Disney sends).

Regular Chair covers (cotton?), including bows, are 8.50 each. This is what I was quoted but I believe you can get other fabrics (e.g., satin) for a higher cost.

The napkins run from 1$ each (for a regular cotton one) to 2.50$ each (I believe satin is the most expensive but I could be wrong!)
 
Unless things have changed Disney will provide basic menu cards at no charge. I ended up getting custom menu and table cards through Laura @ Disney floral. I'm guessing they came from Shelley at Impressions, but I only worked with Laura- not Shelley so I can't be sure. I'm at work so I can't post them, but I did have a pic of the provided one in my email (but I'm sure there won't be a typo on yours):

I don't know why it is so hard to hear back from my floral partner... whenever I email her it is 4+ days to hear back... I guess she is a very very busy woman!! :upsidedow

For the chair cover and bows... I was doing white cotton with a green bow...it should be only $8.50? AWESOME!

Oh! My wedding planner emailed me (I forwarded her the email that I sent my floral partner as I haven't heard from her) and she said the GF would not provide menu cards as I am having a buffet.

I am getting so overwhelmed with the lack of information and pricing... :guilty:

That's right! Sorry, we had a plated menu for our reception. Sorry you are having trouble getting all the answers you need. I had a lot of issues getting in touch with my floral planner as well. Be sure you C.C. ALL your emails to their assistants too. B/c atleast they can provide you with the correct info as well. :thumbsup2
 
Send her another email...I sent soemthing to my planner and waited to hear from her. I sent her another one and apparently the first email got stuck in her SPAM folder...Double check with her...computers are not perfect! :surfweb:
