Stayed eight days at WL. We tried places we hadn't before - here it is......

1st day Chef Mickey's and Casey's Corner
2nd day Teppanyaki
3rd day Trails End and Akershus
4th day The food court at AKL and HDDR
5th day Sci-Fi Dine In and Nine Dragons
6th day Liberty Tree Tavern and Portobello Yacht Club
7th day Disney Quest and ESPN
8th day Roaring Forks and Cinderella's Feast

There were more but I'm going off the top of my head. All in all, I didn't think the meals were up to standard compared to past visits. The restaurant we liked best? Nine Dragons! Go figure.

Wow! That is a bit surprising! Can you tell us why it was so good?

Can you tell me how you liked Teppanyaki? I think we will try this for the first time when we go in December. Both of my boys take Japanese in middle school and are very interested in the Japanese culture. I thought this would be a nice place to try but haven't read too much about it. Thanks!

Hi there...

Can you tell me about Cinderella's Feast? (Food/service/characters)

And also how was the food at SciFi?

Mouseclick1 -The Teppanyaki is very good. The food is very fresh, you can see them putting it on the grill. The entertainment is fun and your kids should enjoy the atmosphere of eating around the grill. We are always satisfied here.

Belle5:

I had Pot Stickers, Hot and Sour soup (medium spice) and the General Tso's Chicken; DH had Kung Pao Chicken. The chicken in both dishes were very good white meat and tasted really fresh unlike here at home when you usually good God only knows what. The flavors just really hit well with us. DD10 had Sweet and Sour Chicken from kids menu and is still raving about it. It really was just a fresh, good quality meal. We couldn't believe it either.

Mouseclick1:

Teppanyaki was a good show and we were told we had one of the better chefs. The family sitting with us (married couple and their daughter and fiancee) said they always come but hope that young children are seated with them because the chef performs more for them. The food was ok, a little lacking in flavor. I had the steak and chicken combo. DD's liked Nine Dragons better even without the show.

>>^..^<<:

Cinderella's Feast was just ok. The mashed red potato sweet potatoes (they mixed them together) were good. The lasagna was good the strawberry soup was good and I liked the bread pudding with vanilla sauce. I just remember the food being better 3 years ago. I also had a very cramped and rushed feeling.

Thanks Disney1-30-98 and Texian@WDW! My son turns 14 during our trip; I think we'll do Teppanyaki for his birthday.

I was pleasantly surprised by Nine Dragons also! It took us so long to try it because of the bad reviews on these boards.. well we have been there twice now, and it was great both times!

so, yes, I believe you!!!!!!!! :)

Laura :)

Is it true that Nine Dragons has done away with their all you can eat luncheon? We tried it for the first time in jan and loved it!
