it GC still really damaged from the hurricanes?? are excursions canceled?

I was on one of the first cruises back when they opened the island. Our excursion was the island tour with the turtle farm and it was still available. It was sad to see the island in such bad shape.

Just got back from a 7 day Carnival cruise. Stopped in Grand Cayman on 1/20. They are slowly getting the island put back together. Still lots of trees laying around and buildings being repaired - but the people there are working hard and bouncing back wonderfully. We went on the Sting Ray City tour and turtle farm/Hell tour booked thru Captain Marvins (highly recommend this outfit!! ). We were lucky enough to have as our private guide one of the local women and she did a great job filling us in on the events of the hurricane - she actually rode most of the storm out laying in her bathtub!!
As far as I could tell all the excursions are back up and most of the shops are open.
