Has anyone eaten at Yak & Yeti TS recently? Its been on my to-do list since opening but I'm finally going to make it. I haven't read any recent reviews and I'd love some feedback and recommendations on things you've eaten and loved.

We were there in November and we really liked it. I went in hoping for the best. I had read some good reviews and some awful reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. We went for lunch, my dh had the beef and broccoli, I had the Shaoxing steak and shrimp. We both enjoyed these very much. My ds 12 had the Kobe Beef burger he enjoyed it, but nothing really special about it, altough it is a big burger. My ds8 had the Baby back ribs, this was probably the least favorite on the table. He didn't care for the bbq sauce and the ribs just weren't as tender as some others we had on the trip. ds8 always gets ribs if it's on the menu so he is only 8 but he has had his share of ribs. For desserts we tried the Fried wontons, cheesecake and a bowl f vanilla ice cream. The desserts were good. We would definitley go here again.

We were there Dec. 29. Can't remember what everyone had, but there was general happiness! I had the ribs and LOVED them! As did others who sampled...I wonder if it was a different chef??
Anyway, our second good experience there. We recommend!

Im interested in hearing some recent reviews also...we have a rez for May and its one of the places I have been dying to try.

We were at Yak and Yeti in Dec. 2010....2nd time. Great service and love the food. Thai Chili Wings, Malaysian Seafood Curry are my favorites. Check out my review in the link below! Can't wait to go back again...

ate there last weekend...had the seared tuna appetizer, as well as wok-fried green beans and the pork egg rolls. All were very, very good --hubby said the pork egg rolls were possibly the best egg rolls he'd ever had.

For entrees, we had the seared miso salmon, the malayasian seafood curry, and the baby back ribs. Again, all were very good. (in the past, we have had the steak & tempura shrimp, which is also very good.)

For dessert, two of us had the fried cream cheese wontons, and hubby had the sorbet trio. All were wonderful. Son had never had anything like the fried wontons...said it was possibly his favorite dessert ever (and he didn't even eat the grilled pineapple...just the fried wontons & ice cream.)

Highly recommend Yak & Yeti. Great service & great food...wonderful decor/theming/ambiance.

We haven't been recently (last was October 09) but in planning our next trip is top of DD's list and pretty near the top of DH's and my list of places we want to go back to. Steak and tempura shrimp was lovely, and we're already planning on having the won tons for dessert!
