Your excitement is justified. The WL is a GREAT resort! It's our favorite place in the World (and probably the world).

The pictures do whet the appetite, don't they? As nice as it is to look at pictures, there's no comparison to actually walking into the lobby and thinking "this is my home for the next X days!"

You'll have a great trip! Let me know if you have any other WL questions...

Great pictures! Thanks! DW and I are staying at the WL for the first time in December. We always have stayed POR and wanted to finally try a deluxe. Just like the OP, our trip is 8 months off, but we are really getting pysched by this one. We have a courtyard room boked and have requested a king bed. (That is one thing we like about POR, you can reserve a king)
We are really looking forward to it.

We booked a woods view as well, but we were upgraded at no charge to courtyard. It was our anniversary, and I had noted that when I made the reservation. I'm not sure that had any bearing on the upgrade, but it probably didn't hurt.
