First let me say thanks to everyone for all the helpful pretrip dining info. This was a 10 day trip. We spent the first few days touring with family and then moved to Give Kids the World for the Make a Wish portion of our trip.
Mama Melrose: lunch right when they opened, field greens salad, minestrone soup, panzella, kids pasta, whole family enjoyed this meal
Hollywood and Vine: fantasmic package, this was the ADR that was more difficult to get before we left, but managed to get a 5:30 spot, chose this one because it was the cheapest meal for the fantasmic package, not our favorite buffet however the vegetarian pasta was good, son did not like the mac and cheese
Cosmic Rays: grilled chicken sandwich was great! also liked the pasta salad
Chef Mickeys: after hearing mixed reviews on this one our family liked it, we did have an ADR right at opening and that may have helped, kids enjoyed the characters and napkin twirling, rosemary chicken, prime rib, seafood pasta, mashed potatoes all good, nice dessert buffet and son liked the mac and cheese ( looked different from the kind at H&V)
Tusker House: rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, chicken very moist and veggies were delicious
Carribean Beach Food court: cobb salad ( could go for one of these salads right now-LOL) and turkey wrap both good, another morning we had the adult breakfast platter and mickey waffle with fruit topping which were also good, another day we ate the fettucine alfredo with breadsticks
Liberty Tree Tavern: a 5:15 ADR before MNSSHP, great meal--included turkey, flank steak( our favorite), ham, mashed potaotes, stuffing, rolls, salad with strawberry vinaigrette, green beans, mac and cheese, and apple cobbler with ice cream, I asked the server and she said the mac and cheese is the only thing from Stouffers, they make the rest themselves, nice character interaction here
Earl of Sandwich: I was really hungry for another cobb salad, I told them to leave out the nuts and cranberries--they make it right in front of you, it was a huge portion, good but a little too much dressing for me
Crystal Palace: had an ADR right an opening, wonderful buffet, we especially liked the chicken asiago pasta and sliced to order meats, greek salad also good, characters were nice, kids liked the parade
Donald's Breakfastsaurus: had heard mixed reviews on this before we left as well, we were seated in a room with four tables which worked better for us than the large room, quiche was good, the Chef was very helpful in making some oatmeal for my son because the buffet only had one item he could have, met donald our favorite!
Snacks: we enjoyed Mickey ice cream bars, Minnie strawberry fruit bars, Mickey rice krispie treats, Goofy's taffy and slushies, shaved ice in Japan, and lots of soft serve ice cream--good thing we did so much walking!
Last, I know this isn't WDW but I wanted to mention our lunch at Margaritaville at Universal. We had the cheeseburger in paradise, quesadillas, and strawberry coladas--all fantastic!
After ten days, I can't remember everything we ate--should have written more down, but hope this helps someone!
