We just spent eight nights at Magic Villa #5 (themagicorlandorental.com) at Windsor Hills. We enjoyed our stay, and I can't imagine ever staying in a hotel room again. The townhouse was very clean, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. I'm very picky about that. No mold, no insects anywhere. The rooms were nicely furnished with lots of decorative touches. Everything was very comfortable. We had chosen this particular townhouse for the princess-themed room. As others have stated, the plastic sheeting on the walls is peeling back in places, and they really should fix this, but this in no way detracted from the look of the room, in my opinion. DD loved all the princess theming in the room. We had requested pool heat and it was operating when we arrived. The water was like a hot bath all week, which is exactly as I like it. No complaints there! Everything was in good working order, the kitchen was well-stocked for preparing basic meals, and there were enough linens and towels for our family. There were a few minor things we noticed, but nothing that detracted from our enjoyment. We would stay here again if traveling as a family of three. We had family members come over for a visit one day, and they loved the place and may want to stay over a few nights next time. If they decide to stay with us, we would probably rent a different townhouse, as the downstairs bedroom was furnished with nothing but a bed. No dresser, no nightstand. I thought that kind of odd. They probably wouldn't mind, but I would want them to be comfortable.
We loved Windsor Hills in general. We enjoyed having our own splash pool and started and ended each day there. Believe me, it was hard to get out of the pool in the morning to go to the theme parks! We spent an entire day at the resort pool as well. We love the convenience of the area, the close proximity to great restaurants and stores, and the fact that it's a gated community. DH, who never cared for Florida at all, can't wait to go back. I'm already thinking about booking for next year!
