Have never done a trip report before so not sure if this qualifies-but here goes.
Cast of characters
DH-54, Me-52, DSisIL 45, DS 27.

First time stay at SSR, we have stayed at all of the other on property DVC's before. Used ME and while it worked excellent will probably go back to renting a car. We like the freedom to get around in the evenings to resort hop or go to DTD.
Our plane landed at 11:05 am Thursday (used ME) and were physically in our room (2 bedroom) by 12:15pm. Originally we had booked at 1 bedroom and then DS decided to join us. Got on waitlist for 2 br and it came through for all but 1st night. When I checked in I had asked if by some chance one was available so DS wouldn't have to sleep on floor and it was and was ready. :Pinkbounc

Room was in great shape, clean and a fantastic view. We were in the Springs, building 14 across from the main pool. Room 3725.
We did notice that the phone in the king bedroom did not work nor did the power strip on the night table. That was no biggie to us as we bring cell phones and never use the room phones. All the other plugs in the room worked so the power strip was not a biggie either. But we did leave a note for mousekeeping on our T&T day. It had not been taken care of, so we let the front desk know when we checked out.

The bus service was slow to say the least. We figured that they were still trying to work out the bugs. But on one of our bus trips we had three bus drivers-1 in training, 1 learning to train and 1 training both. We had just a few guests on the bus and the trainer was talking with all of us about the training that the drivers get and he mentioned that in the VERY near future Disney is going to GPS to help eliminate wait time for the guests. A dispatcher will monitor the buses and be able to send them where they are needed most. He/she will be able to see where they are at all times and send the closest one to whomever needs it the most. :thumbsup2
To me they will still have to monitor on the ground which stop has the most people waiting. But at least they are trying to do something.

Parks were crowded (went Presidents week) but we are used to the first full week after labor day. So I guess compared to that anything would seem crowded. But had a great time and looking forward to surprise Anniversary trip in May to OKW. Shhh, don't tell DH he doesn't know yet! :rolleyes1
