recent sequoia lodge experiences?

My family will go to this hotel in a few weeks, anyone can tell me about the experience?

We stayed in march/April. We were in gf, which was ok.
For breakfast, you could pay small supplement to have gf breakfast- with characters until November, it was quiet and nice interaction.
There is only one lift from floor with reception to lake/ restaurant levels. You can walk round, ok if weather is nice but otherwise it's bit mental waiting at peak times.
Hunters grill was nice restaurant for buffet in evening.
Is there anything in particular you want to know xx

It's just the right distance from the parks to enjoy the walk, the rooms are lovely, the bar is great, food is fine and it smells gorgeous

Wish we were staying there for our next trip.

Stayed in Yellowstone Lodge in August. Really close to main building (shop and bar) and swimming pool. Lovely walk through trees to park. We really liked new Bambi theming. Had breakfast at 7am to beat crowds and make EMH which was lovely. We enjoyed our stay!

This is my favourite hotel and we stayed 7 nights in February.
I had a Montana room, in the North wing, on the same floor as reception, right next door to the meet and greet and boutique, right next to the stairs for breakfast and the bar.
The pool is great (though chilli, the kids stay in for ages)
The staff are lovely and attentive, breakfast is civilised and I can fault it.
