I've only read bad reviews about this place, but nothing recently. It's on the DP and has a two lobster tail dinner which I would love. Anybody been there recently?

We had lunch here last August. A thunder storm blew in and we were literally within running distance to Capn' Jack's, so we went in. Pleasant lunch, nothing fancy. We all had sandwiches or salads. Key lime pie was okay, and rest of family had a delicous chocolate cake. We thought it was a great location to watch the lightening cross the lake.

Wouldn't go here just for the food, but we didn't think it was as horrible as others have reported. Also, we had a blast with the bartenders.

We liked it. We all had a steak with lobster tail add ons..we also had the artichoke dip..The dip was good but the tortilla chips were lacking..Good bread too. I would go back

This was our best meal of our honeymoon. The wait wasn't as bad as some people say it is. We got in with about a 7-8 minute wait. Their food was awesome!!!! For an appetizer I had crab cakes and DH had soup. Both were delicious. For our entrée we both had two lobster tails, rice, and mashed potatoes. Aside from the rice, it was so so so so good. This was our best meal of the entire trip and it was only one table service credit each. I heartily recommend Cap’n Jacks if you like seafood. For dessert I had a brownie sundae and Rob had key lime pie. It was all so good, I’m getting hungry right now thinking about it. It was around $150 for the meal, but only 1 TS each on the dining plan.

We were there in July. I have plans to go again in June.

We where there twice both times where good. Will be eating there Wed Night.

Delightful in December! We enjoyed the dinner we had and quite frankly one of the best kids meal values on property. The children had salad for their apps, DH and I had the crabcakes, followed by pasta for me and ribs for DS(14)and DH, DD had the grilled chicken sandwich which came with two sides, she chose fries and fruit. DD was so full she did not order dessert.

Thanks for these reviews. :thumbsup2 I have a friend visiting in May, and for once I am going to plan ahead and make ADRs for dinner one night. This is one of the options I have given her, but I had not known anyone who has eaten there!

We totally enjoyed Capn Jack's margaritas :drinking1 on her last visit, but the wait for dinner was too long for food!!!

(I didn't even thing about making ADRs as we didn't know what we were doing - in the long run we should have waited as we wound up eating at Red Lobster near my house at 9:30!)

I don't think you can make an ADR there. One of the drawbacks during the busy periods.
