Thinking about trying Restaurant Marrakesh this June. Does anyone have pics of interior of restaurant, food, entertainment? I'm trying to determine if my two sons (7,12 at time of travel) will enjoy this restaurant.

I don't have a review for you but I was trying to decide the same thing. They do have chicken nuggets and a hamburger on the kids meal choices so I've decided to go for it and try to get an ADR.

I know DH will enjoy the belly dancer. :rotfl:

We have never eaten at Marrakesh (plan to do so in October though), but we did eat at the CS in Morocco and the food was VERY good. DH loved the CS and has resquested that we definitely go to Marrakesh next time.

We ate at Marrakesh on 2-23-09 and it was awesome. I don't have pictures, but I am working on a restaurant review. The restaurant is one big open rectangular room with platformed (just a few steps) seating both sides of the rectangle. The walls are white stucco with tile work, it's simple, but pretty. The CMs were great and there were lots of people there to celebrate their birthdays. All the CMs sing Happy Birthday with a Moroccan twist. The belly dancer was super friendly and invited all the kids to dance with her (we were told she's the mother of four children--wow!)

AND, did I mention, THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! We liked everything we ordered, chicken and beef kebabs, couscous with seven vegetables and roasted chicken, and soup. We also loved the bread that was served, should have ordered the hummus, but were worried we wouldn't have room for desserts...thank goodness we didn't order the appetizers because the desserts were fabulous! We loved the Bastilla and the pastries!

My DH and I never miss Marrakesh. The food is excellent - succulent meats like lamb and chicken with Mediterranean spices (cinnamon, cardamon, etc.). Lots of olives and lemon. We were sad when they took away the Sultan's Sampler as it had a little taste of everything on it. Also, don't skip dessert; they have very tasty almond and honey pastries and citrus ice-creams. Lovely! Ohhh, I almost forgot - live music and belly-dancing!:woohoo:
