We stayed here last year our first couple of nights. We liked it enough and thought we'd do the same this year. However, I was able to get a great Entertainment rate last year. I know those are no longer available. What have you all been able to get for rates recently at HIFS?

Any other suggestions for an off-site location to begin our trip?

We have a reservation for July 2005 and are paying $200 per night. The kids eat free at lunch and dinner with a paying adult.

I just reserved one night at HIFS on Feb 22nd for about $130. I was looking at the prices on the website yesterday and noticed that they were around 130 until the middle of March.

i had booked for dec for 115 a night but i changed to a villa with 3 bed rooms, full kitchen and 2 baths for 105 a night,

I'm paying $89.00 a night with the entertainment rate. I have 2 rooms reserved for Oct 30 - Nov 5. I need to call this week and cancell. We have decided to stay at the Sheraton Vistana. More money, but better for my kids DD14, DS12. It sounds like HIFS is geared more towards younger kids and isn't as quiet as we would like. From the website pictures.....it looks like it is going to be wonderful!

That sounds way too high for a Holiday Inn surely you can do better both pricewise and quality wise.

It really is too high for a Holiday Inn but the kids are dying to try out the "Nick Hotel" theme. We're doing 3 nights at HRH, 2 nights at HIFS, and 11 nights at GF. We're just planning on relaxing and HIFS and letting the girls do the kids spa. They just want to see the Nick theme, Nick character breakfast, and the night time Nick entertainment. Believe it or not, even with such a high rate they are already sold out for July 6 and 7, 2005. I guess everyone wants to try a Nick hotel.
