Recent Pop/AoA stays - Bridge open?

Hey all! I'll be headed down to WDW in 11 days, staying at Pop Century again (WHOOO!) DBF and I are really excited to check out the Art of Animation resort now that it's open, if anyone has stayed at either Pop or AoA in the past month since it opened, can you tell me if the bridge between the two resorts is open? It would be awesome to just walk over, but otherwise we'll just take a bus from a park. Thanks!

DEFINTELY open!

After waiting NINE years to walk across Generation Gap Bridge,it felt AMAZING to walk from POP to AoA(even at 4:47 AM!!!!LOL)! on Opening Day!

It is now also possible to walk from POP to AoA via the "lake Loop"(I call it Hourglass Lake Promenade).

Hourglass Lake Promenade is open EXCEPT for the section by The Lion King and The Little Mermaid,so Guests have to walk around the end of the lake by Cars.

I just stayed last week at Pop and had the dine plan. My motivation for staying there was that I could walk across the bridge and use the DAAR food court for my quick service meal. It is unlike any other food court at a Value as you get real china and silverware (more environmentally friendly.) There is a gelato bar as well as a pasta bar where you can have not only chicken but shrimp, andoulle (sp?) sausage and fresh veggies added to your choice of pasta and sauce with a side of caesar salad. Tres magnifique! Also you can sit in your favorite themed area in the seating area whether it's Cars, Finding Nemo, Lion King, or Little Mermaid!

You won't be able to use the pool as you need a DAAR room key for that. Enjoy!

Actually POP Guests are being "allowed" to use The Big Blue and Cozy Cone Pools.
