We will be doing the Backstage Magic Tour in September and I wondered if anyone who has recently done this tour could give a description of it - highs, lows, etc.

Thanks,

Babs

Without giving too much info away...we took the tour May 2006.

Places you'll visit...

Epcot: American Adventure, World Showcase, Cast Member Service Building

MGM: Costume and Wardrobe Departments, Mama Melrose's for a WONDERFUL lunch served family style...PLENTY of food for everyone!

MK: 3 o'clock parade, Main Street U.S.A., Utilidors

You'll also visit the Disney World Florists and the Fabrication Shops along with the HUGE Christmas Decoration Storage Facility.

It is a FULL 7 1/2 hours but it goes by so quick, you'll see LOTS of behind the scenes and possibly a few characters!!! Both DH and I really enjoyed it.

Not recently, some years ago. It was my first tour. I guess I liked it enough as I have taken nine subsequent tours since then, one every trip, except one. All have been great, with BSM among the best. Pretty much as Shelby described above, so it must not change much. It really is a great way to spend a Disney day. Make sure you get an applicable discounts you are entitled to, http://allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm they save quite a bit a money, when 'rack rate' is 200 bucks.

Thanks for all the info. We did get a discount through Disney Visa so I am glad about that. And I am thrilled about visiting the costume shop as costume design is a hobby of mine.

Thanks again!
