I just read on another website that the private entrance to DCA from PP is closed. Anyone know if this is true? If so, will it re-open?

The enterance that was across the street from PP has been closed for years. There were security problems. That enterance should not be confused with the enterance from the GC in to DCA. That is still there and can be used by PP guests.

I just got back yesterday & we stayed at the PP. Don't know about a private PP entrance, but from PP we crossed the street. walked thru the GCH lobby and thru THEIR private entrance into Cal. Adventure several times.

A 5 min. walk. No problems, no waits & supposedly is only available to Disney GCH, DH & PP guests.

Mostly true. The entrance does open for non-PPH/GCH/DLH guests later in the day. It was 12pm when I was there in April. A nice, quick and easy way to enter DCA - we used it all the time.

We also have no problem using it when we eat at Whitewater Snacks.

I believe if you eat at Storyteller's for breakfast and have your receipt with you, you may also be able to use GCH's entrance to DCA when it opens in the morning.

WWS is the primary reason we use that entrance so often - even when staying off-site.
