Hello! I know that Palo dinner has recently changed to a Prix Fixe or ala cart dining experience. I cannot find information to suggest that brunch has (or has not) changed to the same format.
Has anyone been recently that could share their experience? I will be on the Magic.

Thanks!
Jennifer

It is not a la carte. It is a $45 fixed price but you choose whatever you want from the menu. The change now is instead of a buffet, they bring you a seafood platter and a meat/cheese platter as an appetizer.

Had brunch on two separate ships in November. Anything u wanted to order for $45. It was excellent (Fantasy and Magic)

Morning! We were in the Fantasy over Christmas and celebrated with brunch at Palo. It was amazing, as always. It’s still fixed price but with the menu. They bring unlimited trays of the seafood and antipasto. Our server brought us plates of our favorites when the group finished those off. We all had multiple plates of our favorites including the chicken parmigiana, which can’t be missed! Have fun and enjoy 😉

We had not done Palo brunch in the before-times, but we loved our experience last month.

There were far more courses and options than we could possibly eat. The quality was incredible.
We tried each of the antipasto platters and indeed our waiter brought more of selected items on request. We shared 3 pasta dishes and 3 desserts. We also had the option to get pastries, waffles, eggs benedict, etc but we can only eat so much. But for $45 you can eat as much as you like.

I could definitely see how someone who never experienced the buffet would think it was a great experience now. And I also get that some who have gone in the past still think it’s great.

Unfortunately I had many favorites from the antipasti, pastries, and desserts that are all gone. Like literally the only thing they still offer that I loved is the one or two tiny crab legs on the seafood platter. However, the salmon Benedict is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten so I’ll continue to go even with this new format lol. But man do I miss that buffet.

I know what you mean. I really miss the buffets at Disney World! And Cabanas while still a buffet is definitely lacking too compared to its former glory. My heart broke just a little bit when I showed up for breakfast at Cabanas and they no longer had the Eggs Benedict there. So I will definitely be getting the benedict at Palo. Good to know the smoked salmon one is good too—I’ve been eyeing that on the menu.

Which ship? They were there everyday on the WONDER, just at different stations.

It was the Dream. I did ask at Cabanas and they said it was only available in the MDRs or Palo.
That's strange, but usually they will send someone down to a MDR to get you one if an item is not available. We were getting omelets brought up to CABANA's when we asked on the WONDER several times. They had them made in TIANA's kitchen.
