Wondering what has been recent experiences with bridging tickets. Was able to do it successfully in Nov 2014. I purchased tickets for this fall on UT to avoid the price increase. Now my DH is worried about if they will still bridge them. Any recent success stories?

I did in December

Word of warning, know what your bridged amount should be prior to going to the ticket counter.
All CM are not created equal. Some can successfully bridge and others can't.
If you are given a total different from what you expect, as for a supervisor.

We did this with no problem in June...thanks to Robo for explaining how it works. We waited until half way into our trip before adding.

Yes! Excellent point. I had this problem last time. I had already calculated what the price would be if they did it wrong and if they did it right. It made it much easier when she tried to tell me the wrong price.

We had good luck at the Guest Relations place inside Epcot in June 2015. Of course, our tickets were part of a Disney package, so that might have helped.
In Feb 2016, I "bridged" my annual pass purchased in June to the new annual pass so I could get memory maker for about $100 for that trip and our next June trip.
I did as others have said and figured out what the price should be ahead of time, and the CM did it correctly.

It does. Those tickets are full price tickets so they have no problems figuring the amount. It's when you bridge a discounted ticket that you have to watch the amount. Provided you have used a day first. If you don't enter the park first, you will loose the savings you had when you bought the ticket. If you use it at least once it will keep it's discount.

No, the tickets included in a package are considered discounted tickets, so they can be bridged to the current gate price. This only matters, of course, if there is a price increase between the time you book the package and the time you arrive. Tickets purchased directly (and separately) from Disney will only be worth the original price you paid, but package tickets will be bridged to the current gate price.
