recent feedback on world of color fastpass?

Has anyone been to watch World of Color recently who used fastpass? I was wondering how long the line is to get fastpasses in the morning and what time do they run out on weekdays? thanks

On weekdays if there is only one show they seems to go fast, before noon they were gone. I think it is a combination of there only being one show and no other evening spectaculars taking place.

Do you know if there are two shows, can you choose which one you can get a fast pass for? Or can you only get fastpasses for the second after the first shows passes run out?

And does anyone know if you can see World Of Colour from anywhere in the Disneyland Grand Californian?

I don't know how fast they are running out now, but we got our FP's on a Sunday with no problem, just being at the DCA gates like at 9a (so 30 minutes before they started letting us in and forming the WOC FP line). We were literally the 3rd party in line so it was an in & out kind of thing. Especially on a weekday if there was ever a day that you were going to start off the morning in DCA that's what I would do.

They dole out the FP's for the first show first, then the second, etc. So no, you can't choose which show you get FP's for.

I was there on this same day, a Sunday that had two show, and was surprised that they were still distributing FP's at 6pm. I think this was largely a rare anomoly.

It seems that otherwise there are passes left until 11:30am-1pm this off season. I suspect the Halloween parties on Tuesday, Friday and Halloween day this month are causing more people to plan an evening in DCA. Though last Friday they added a third show because of this.

How long is the wait/line for FP say on a Saturday ? We will likely be at DCA around the 10am opening time.

I went on a sunday right at opening and got one w/minimal wait (5-10 min).

When we returned at 6pm-ish, they were giving out FPs for the second show that night (which was surprising). the park was NOT crowded that day though, so YMMV.
