I was thinking a thread about this might be useful just to get some idea of what people have experienced recently. Some of the details that might help future visitors:

Kiosk location?
Date and time of day?
FP+ #? 4, 5, 6 etc.
How long was the line?
Was there a CM helping or did you do it yourself?
What was offered? Ride/Window
What were you able to change it to? Ride/Window
Kiosk easy to use?
Your opinion - was it worth the wait in the kiosk line?

I am going down in a week and am hoping the "secret" City Hall kiosk is still there!:)

I read that it was only being allowed for initial FP set up for those who did not reserve in advance and not for any extras. One poster said he was asked before he even entered the hall and was turned away. That is one of the reasons I started this thread. Leaving in a week as well.

Great info!

Last I heard there wasn't a CM manning it-they weren't "monitoring" it-anyone could use it.:)

The only location I noticed in December was the one by Peco Bills (in hallway where the bathrooms are in MK). And the line was crazy long.

I would love to hear some recent reports, as we are leaving in 1 week for our trip. Where are the kiosks in each park located and is there only one kiosk in each location or multiple?

My favorite was Frontierland. It was always much less crowded than others. Most crowded was outside Stitch, but that one also had the most CMs moving things along.

Still don't understand why they got rid of the kiosk in Storybook Circus .. there is nothing there (but a 'rest area') .. it is out of the way and far enough away from the other ones.

The Frontierland one and the Adventureland kiosks seem to close together.

I liked the one by Jungle Cruise (this was in October) .. even though it had lines it was out of the way enough that you didn't feel like it was overcrowded with just a logjam of people. Felt like it was the only one where there was an CM staffed queue and not just people making their own lines behind them (hoping you get the "quick" line)

The restrooms near Pecos Bills?

Close - between 32 and 36 on the map:

I would say it's in "No Man's Land" but it's the closest to Frontierland. :)

Yes, sorry. I call that FP as being in Frontierland, but it's kind of on the edges of both "lands" I guess. I just think of it as Frontierland because that's the side of the walkway where we always seemed to be resting for a snack.

We were in the MK on Friday and it was very crowded with spring break travelers. I got a 4th FP around 5:30pm for Little Mermaid at a kiosk near Mickey's Philharmagic and there wasn't much wait. However I needed to go back to the same kiosk around 7pm to get a 5th FP and the lines there were insane. I waited in line about 30 minutes. One family ahead of me was picking all 3 FP's for a party of 12 people...lol! By the time I got my FP's the lines were twice as long.

They seriously need to double the kiosks or rethink this. Everyone had some problem that needed help from the CM and there was a CM by each machine. I didn't have much problem getting FP's for the things I wanted (Little Mermaid, Pirates) but the lines were insane at that kiosk after 7. Of course most people are not using the kiosks until they go for the 4th one later in the day and that's when the problems start. I don't mind waiting in a line but waiting in a line to get a FP to wait in another line...well...I could just go wait in the standby line if I have to wait 30 mins in the kiosk line...lol!

Thanks for sharing your experience with this. Any idea how many machines are at each kiosk station?

Oh it's too bad it's gone. We used it--at least I'm pretty sure it was that one--in early March. It was maybe 8 p.m., no wait, helpful CM, and we got a Buzz Lightyear FP+ that we hadn't been able to get all day. We weren't aiming to get it; it was more like "if we see a kiosk we'll try it." So it came in handy. It was the only time we used a kiosk the whole trip.
