I tried to search for recent experiences with this meet and greet, but didn't find much from this year.

We would like to know:
did you have much of a wait? (we were thinking of hitting it shortly after it opens ~1:30)
Which characters did you meet? I'd imagine they are not the same each time
It is located over by figment now - is that correct?

Please share any other helpful info.

1, there's rarely any wait to speak of. 1 or 2 families at most.
2, it is always changing, some combo of the Fab 5, usually 2 though it can be 1 or even 3, depends on who's available that day
3, bad info, moved again

3, other side, Innoventions West now
Do you know when this moved to innoventions west? In August it was still back by figment. It was mickey and goofy with no wait the day we went.

We typically don't do many meet & greets but with a short wait might try this one. Do you just need to show the Disney Visa to gain access?

the last time I went (it wasn't recent, maybe 2 years) the line was always so long! has it changed in popularity?

I'm pretty sure it has been by figment for at least a year or two.
Ok. Just saying it's moved around a lot, not when. That's the 3 location I know of for it. With everything being done in Epcot, it's not a surprise. So many of those buildings are empty

I think it's less popular back by figment. We went in February 2017 and waited 5-10 minutes. We also went in August 2017 with no wait, we walked right in. It was by figment both of those times and we saw mickey and goofy both times although I think that changes.

It is much less popular now that you don't get a physical picture - just the downloadable image.

I can't see that this would be a big negative - i would rather the download so that i can add to our photobooks we make and not have to worry about a picture during our travels. At any rate - I guess if it is less popular then it makes it an easy meet and greet for us to do.

We did it last week - on a Wednesday. We met Minnie and Pluto. There were 2 families in line ahead of us. I think we were there around 3pm and it took < 5 minutes. It was between Figment and the Pixar Short Film building.

In August it was next to Figment and we went right when it started. There were actually quite a few families (6-7) waiting for it to open. We still only waited maybe 10 minutes, but I bet we would have actually waited even less if we’d went about 15 minutes after it opened instead of lining up early. We saw Mickey and Minnie.

I agree! The first time we had it done, we had to wait in line FOREVER at the end of the day to get the picture printed out. So much nicer to be able to go home and play with it awhile, adding different borders, before printing it out yourself. If you aren't capable of printing photos at home, save it to your phone or flash drive and take it to Target, Walmart, Walgreens etc. to print it out.

Jan 2017:
we waited 10 min and met Pluto and Minnie.

Sept 2017:
waited 20 min and met pluto and minnie.

We were there Oct 10-20: 1 person in line near figment. I believe it was Mini and Pluto. We also did the one at the Star Wars Launch Bay HS for visa and it was with Kylo Ren (he was very good)

I think my daughter will freak if she can meet Minnie -she seems like a tough one to find at meet and greets or character meals- lets keep our fingers crossed that she is there in April!!
