Recent Experience with Dollar Express?

The last threads concerning the procedure at MCO said that there's an inside counter, go there and get 'swiped' quickly then go get the car, that simple. Is it still that way? I'll be looking to get my wheels this Thurs. morning, hit Publix, drop the bags at BoardWalk and get to DHS for rope drop on ESPN Weekend, any current info would be appreciated.

Hey Bill...as of about 2 weeks ago the Dollar express is located outside directly across the street from where their kiosk is, inside the airport...if you walk to the kiosk,you will most likely see a sign stating it....Ive been an express member and have always had really good experiences with it..minimal wait,and often upgrades at no cost(I assume depending on how busy the season is)...you should be on your way to publix in no time.....Im heading down on the 9th so if you guys are still there....I would be honored to treat you both to a few libations (I just got my tables in wonderland card ...and Love using it.....Have a blast!)

Hey, Mick, thanks for the info, and we'll be there 'til late on the 10th. We check out that morning but our flight is ths next day and the rental car doesn't turn into a pumpkin until 11 that evening. We usually end our WDW vacations around the Epcot area so let us know if you're going to be in the area the 9th or 10th, I'll have internet access right through so I'll be checking the boards.

Bill - Look forward to hearing about your experience at the Hyatt. We're tentatively planning something similar in November but don't know anyone who has actually stayed there. In past trips when we came in the night before, we just grabbed a room at Pop or one of the All Stars for that night and did the transfers first thing next day. We always talk about staying there sometime as we stroll through the airport.

Also tinkering with flying out of Allentown. Usually fly Air Tran out oh PHL and sometimes Southwestern. We live in Chester County but the drive would be about the same if we can get a deal. It seems to me they have one flight everyday about 5PM out of Allentown.

We've stayed there twice on the way home after a full day at the parks, great place. We also used USAir out of ABE once when they had a direct to MCO at 6:30 am. The only AT flight is after 5 pm so we just want to get to Orlando and chill, staring fresh tomorrow. I'll have my lasptop so I'll report soon.
