How long did it take for you to receive your card? Here is my dilemma:
I just order my AP this weekend so I can't order my DDE until I get my AP, right? I am on the DDP for my Aug trip, but I am paying (or should I said paid as my cc has already been charged) for CRT bkfast for 8. I'm wondering if I can get a credit for the 20% discount for this meal.

I'm looking to see how long it is taking for the DDE card to arrive so I can:
A. Try to get reimbursed for CRT
B. Just have it for drinks and OOP stuff for my Aug trip.

They told us 3-4 weeks and it was at least 3 week. You'll be glad you got it it has saved us so much money! Have fun on your trip!

It took at least 3 weeks for it to arrive. I called because I was worried it would not arrive in time for our trip (it did). I was told that if it didn't arrive in time they would give me a temporary card when we arrived at WDW (we would have to go to pick it up, though).

The card was great -- if I remember correctly, it gives you less than 20% off of CRT (because part of CRT prices are the photo package).

I just purchased my DDE card last month. It took a little over 2 weeks. When I called they asked when we were arriving. It came in the mail the day before we left.

You can pick up a temporary card at Epcot Guest Relations if you don't get it in time.

If I remember correctly, I ordered my DDE card before my AP arrived in the mail. I also ordered it a week or so before my trip. No problem, I picked up a temporary card at Epcot guest relations, which was waiting for me in an envelope with my name on it. I had to show my AP and photo ID. It worked just fine. I found my permanent card in my mailbox when I got back from the trip. Give them a call, I am sure they can accomodate you! Good Luck

Last year they sorta give us 1 extra month because it took so long to process the cards.
Are they still doing that? Or you pretty much start on the same month you ordered the card?

Except for CRT they bill your cc right away.

If you order it after the 5th of the month it has the following month 1 year later's expiration date on it. I ordered on 6/7/06 and mine has the expiration date of 7/31/07.

I ordered my new DDE card on 7/5. It arrived just this past Friday.
My membership is valid now through the 31st of August 2007 (13 months).
