Recent cruiser question-port arrival time

There are many posts discussing what time you can get into the terminal but I'm wondering with the hightened security has this changed the times. I called Youride to arrange transportation from MCO hotel to the terminal. They suggested arriving at 12:00 as the time you can get into the terminal changes often. So right now we are set to be picked up at 11:00. Should we leave it at that time or change it.

As far as I know, you most definitely can still get into the terminal at about 10:30 am. I actually PREFER arriving later but if you want to get there earlier you should have the limo pick you up earlier.

We arrived at the terminal about 10:45 am for our 2/8 cruise which worked fine for us, but we had driven down the night before and stayed at the Radisson . You should be fine getting to the terminal around noon.

Being we just got back, I'd give this advice:

The security, while there is more, they have it logically laid out now, so it doesn't cause huge traffic jams in boarding. Just be ready for airport-level checks (x-ray carryons and the metal detectors) to enter the terminal.

I'd say you need to do one of the following:

*If you want to be on the ship early, get there as early as you can, I'd recommend by 11:00, no later, and get in line as soon as you can, the line forms up rather fast.

*If you don't care about first, but want to avoid the lines and just walk right on, get there at noon or even a bit later, as that's when boarding the ship usually starts and once the rush is over, it becomes walk on, but make sure you give enough time to make sure you get on ok.
