We leave for WDW this Wed 12/7- I was wondering if anyone has recently seen any characters that are more obscure or new...and where it was that you saw them. I'm always up for a pic with a character that's out of the ordinary, because sometime I just get jaded by the standard characters- "Oh, great... there's Goofy...do we really need a fifth picture w/ Goofy this trip?"
I'm still trying to track down Launchpad and Darkwing (I saw them from a distance a couple trips ago, but they were going on break by the time I got to them)
My son would love to see Little Einsteins, Chicken Little, Stanley, Chewbacca (I found him on a trip about 10 years ago, but on more recent rips the CM told me "He returned to his home planet"), Mike & Sully, and Mr. Incredible.
I'd greatly appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks.

We were there Nov. 12-19th...

We saw

Launchpad- near the trainstation in Toon Town (MK)
Chicken Little (with Abbey Mallard)- at the end of the Animation Tour in MGM
Mike and Sully have their own greeting spot in MGM (can't remember street- see map)
Mr. Incredible- outside Timekeeper (across from Stitch's ride) in MK first thing in the morning (with Elastigirl).

Stanley is usually at Conservation Station in AK, although we didn't go there this time.

Hope this helps.

Chicken Little is easy to find inside the Magic of Disney Animation building. You can go through the gift shop (to the right of the entrance to the Animation Tour) and follow the hallway in the back to the characters! :)

We are at Disney right now! We saw Little John (from Robin Hood) twice - yesterday he was at the ToonTown Train Station area (the "teardrop" - near the smoking area) at 11:45ish. And today he was in Adventureland in the veranda (sp?) - not far from where you come into Adventureland from the main hub/castle area. Also saw Scrooge at MVMCP by Expostion Hall. At Epcot we saw Esmeralda in France by the garden near the water. We saw Rabbit and the Sheriff of Nottingham at the ToonTown Train Station, too (also around 11:45ish). Bullseye was out at the Diamond Horseshoe for MVMCP. :)

Mike and Sully were at their garage at MGM when we walked by this week, so nice to see them out and about! :)

I completely understand that it is fun to find the unusual ones! - I also get depressed when I keep seeing Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Dale, Chip, and Pluto everywhere I go!

That's all I can think of right now! I'll post again if I think of some more! :) :)

Last night we saw at MVMCP

Stich by his ride.
Mary Poppins, Bert and the Penguins were in Town Square as was Scrooge McDuck.
We had just missed Goofy and Max.
We also saw Snow White and her Price from a distance but the line was to long.

Recently we have seen Pinocio and Gepedo (sp)
Baloo and King Louie are always on Main Street acting silly
At AK the mice from Cinderella, Terk , Brer Rabbit and some othe characters that aren't normally around are usually out and about by the front gates.
We've seen Sleeping Beauty in France by the gardens.

We were there Nov 12 - 18th. My daughter is a character fanatic! We saw the usuals along with the Genie from Aladdin in the front of MK, Koda and Kenai from Brother Bear in AK, Pinocchio, Gepetto, Prince John, Friar Tuck, Woody and Jessie, all in MK. Mary Poppins, Belle and the Beast, Timon and Mulan all in Epcot, Piglet, Buzz Lightyear and Chicken Little in MGM - these are just to name a few. I think my daughter had well over 30 autographs by the time we were done!

Three weeks ago we saw..

The genie in front of the castle at night, along with Donald Duck.
The incredibles, stitch and buzz in the building near Buzz Lightyear ride.
Mike and Scully at Mgm, also Woody and the army men.

That's all I can think of now. :goodvibes

Snow White and Prince Charming and Belle in her red gown and the Beast were out at MVMCP last week at the IASM stroller parking. We also saw Cinderella and Prince Charming at the ToonTown Princess room - CM said they would only be there until 7:30.
