Receiving Member Number Question

Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this....

We will be at the mouse April 16-30. If my contract passes ROFR (went to Disney 2/25), i understand that it may take a few weeks for recording and Disney adding our point to the account.

I've also read recently that we cannot call to get our member number before we receive our package.

Might it be possible if we went to the DVC welcome center at SSR to get our member number/cards? We would like to take advantage of the AP discount to transfer our 10 day hoppers to the AP while still there.

Yes, if you are in the system, the DVC Welcome Center at SSR will be able to print your membership cards for you.

Hope you pass ROFR and get into the computer before your vacation!

If you went to ROFR on 2/25 you should get an answer from disney by the end of March (they almost always take the full 30 days) and depending on how quickly you and the seller sign the paperwork and schedule closing....it's very probable that you can be in the system before the end of your trip.make sure your broker can contact you if everything isn't all wrapped up before you head to disney.
