Received my DVC Magic Band, Now what do I do?

Hi.
I purchased a DVC Magic Band for myself and for my mom.
I will be going on a trip in December and my mom in November.
We have separate MDE accounts. Do I link the MB? I've never had to do this before
since I always get from Disney and never purchased.

I did not get a band for the rest of my family just myself but sure that should be fine with MDE.

Do I link the band? How does it know who I am?

Go to your MDE account and click on Magic Bands and Cards. Enter the numbers off the inside of the band to your account. You can "activate" the one you plan to use and deactivate any others.

If the bands are coming with your reservation, it will already be listed in your profile.

When you say purchased, are you talking about the DVC 25th Anniversary Band? If you did not pay for it, it will already be linked. If you actually bought one, you will have to link it yourself.

You can have multiple bands listed, I have several. I deactivate all of them, until I decide which I am using on my trip, then I activate that one or more than one.

MagicBands received for having a Disney Resort Reservation are automatically linked to your MDE account once they are processed and shipped.

We just became members today, are there any 25th anniversary bands left? I saw they are sold out on the disneystore.com. I am leary of ebay as they could clone the band and once your info is linked to the number, they would have access to your personal info. Thanks!

The Shop Disney Parks mobile app shows Pink and Red available in a few locations at WDW. They are not currently available for purchase using the app.

Also, thanks for letting me know to click on the button to see where they are available, I would have never done that. I can't find phone numbers to the stores so I'm asking around to see if anyone in my area will be going to Disney soon. If not, not a big deal. Thanks again for your help.
