Received magic bands for March trip that was cancelled....should I customize new ones for May trip?

The lady I spoke to on the phone said we can order new bands that will either be mailed or we'll have to pick up at our resort, since our stay is in 2 weeks. We don't really need them, but I noticed on the magic extras card, it has the March dates. So that would be the only reason to get new, I suppose. What do you think?

Magic Bands access your MDE and are not “connected” to any specific tickets or resort stay. You can decline the new bands if you’d prefer; I think I would customize them, choosing different colors than the original set. Then you can alternate bands to match your outfit each day.

So if I take my bands from our trip last year I can use them interchangeably with the set we get this year?
