Received luggage tags..

I was under the impression that luggage tags weren’t included anymore for free yet we just received tags. Nice little cards

Do I bother attaching them? Since they don’t take your bags anymore.

Are you talking about the plastic luggage tags with Mickey and Minnie that are sent with all packages? Those have never been used for luggage pickup.

Now, if they sent you the paper sticker tags that have barcodes and your resort listed, then that would be interesting. This type of tag was what was used for luggage pickup.

Oh yeah the plastic luggage tags. I never received those before because I usually book direct DVC. I didn’t know what they were. Just complimentary luggage tags in general?

The luggage tags you got have always been included when you book a package through Disney, and they have nothing to do with Magical Express luggage service.

I've had an annual pass for the past 4 years and I KNOW I received luggage tags at least once in that time period because I remembering giving them to my travelling companion to put on her luggage. She was super excited because she hadn't been to WDW in over 20 years. But we definitely didn't book a package, only a room. Maybe a glitch in our favor.

Maybe you got them as an annual pass reward? I've booked about a dozen resort stays in the past 10 years, and have only received tags when I booked a package. And of course, I'm referring to the decorative luggage tags, not Magical Express luggage tags.

Maybe a month in advance? I don't really remember as we rarely book packages (one reason why I noticed getting the luggage tags the times we did book them) but with 2 months to go I think you have plenty of time for them to arrive.
