Well, for the 3rd time in a row I've received a postcard pin discount code. I used it 2 times now-- August and for November. I seriously doubt I'll be able to go back in Jan or Feb. But believe me- I'm going to try. :rolleyes1 I wondre if I'll be able to convince hubby?? Hmmm---- :flower3:

Well, I just explained to hubby that we received this discount- he read it... it says stay 4 nights/5 days with theme park tickets- free park hoppers and water park option at a value for $385 per adult. I told him we should go and leave the kids at my parents- he winked and said don't lose that postcard and we'll talk later. :mickeyjum

Plus, it says Pirate and Princess Party will be going on! pirate: princess:

ohhh it also says that you can call to ask about room only discounts for Feb - March.

I just received the same postcard and my DH just about said the same thing! (First adults only trip). I get so excited when I get a postcard from Disney. When do you think is the best time to go, Jan, Feb, or March?

Boy, I should would love to know the magic formula for receiving a post card with a pin code! It's never happened for me and I've gone to WDW six times. Any ideas? Thanks! - M.

Same here, and I've been 15 times at least! I wonder if it's certain parts of the country...and I don't live in the region that ever qualifies!!

By the way, I'm doing the 30 day dance!!!:cool1: :cool1:

Just call CRO and ask them if there are any codes attached to your name. I never receive the actual emails or postcards (I don't know why -- maybe it has something to do with what my internet preferences are), but twice now I've been able to apply the discount to my reservation. The CM's are usually more than happy to check.

I ask them every time I call, whether I'm making a new ressie or trying to modify an existing one..and there's never anything by my name.

I got one to for the first time! I am so excited trying to see if DH will consider going in March

I got one yesterday, but my BIL's name was on it?! Not sure how that happened. The postcards/PIN's seem to be mostly targeted at guests who don't go often. This is why i select zero when asked when was the last time i've been there.

The people who go there quite often don't need much incentive since Disney already knows they will most likely be attending. This is why alot of veterans complain about not receiving them. You're going about it all wrong. Update everything to say you haven't been there in quite some time and you'll get a PIN/postcard possibly; at the very least your odds will be much better than they previously were. I use this formula and get PIN's/postcards quite often even though we've gone annually for the past 10+ years.

there was a postcard in my box today as well.....except it had an old friends name on it....not mine...

2 questions for all you code savvy people....

1... can i use it?
2... is it just for packages?...or can it be used on a room only???

thanks for your answers :hippie: :hippie: :hippie:

Yea I think that stinks! I got one with my Dad's name on it but to my address. The CM wouldn't talk to me. Totally not cool for us loyal Disney fans.

Just call with the code and one of the cast members will end up applying the discount. Usually, you have to call a few times, but I have had it applied everytime.

1. No
2. It's for packages AND room-only; dates for packages are in January while room-only is in February/March
