Walking into Epcot last week we were stopped by someone with a clipboard wondering if we could answer a couple of questions. Normally I don't want to waste my park time doing this but I did answer the 5 questions.
After the initial 5 questions, she asked if I'd be interested in trying to help Disney improve on their resorts and for my 2 hours I would receive $100.
Even though I needed to spend 2 hours of my day at Epcot in a discussion group, the kids and my wife were still able to spend the time in the park.
The group was 6 people, we were recorded, and videotaped, and it was really just a roundtable discussion about what type of things Disney could do to attract us to their resorts next vacation instead of staying offsite.
I can't talk about the specific items Disney is currently thinking about, but I can say that my group stressed that early entry is a resort perk that we all missed for various reasons. They have a lot of very interesting ideas in the works for their resorts, I hope to seem some of them implemented soon.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that when visiting it may be worth your time to answer the research people just inside the front gates. Not only did I get an easy $100 of Disney gift certificates (which I applied to my room), but also was able to hear about some of the new resort ideas and express my feelings to help improve things there.
