Walking into Epcot last week we were stopped by someone with a clipboard wondering if we could answer a couple of questions. Normally I don't want to waste my park time doing this but I did answer the 5 questions.

After the initial 5 questions, she asked if I'd be interested in trying to help Disney improve on their resorts and for my 2 hours I would receive $100.

Even though I needed to spend 2 hours of my day at Epcot in a discussion group, the kids and my wife were still able to spend the time in the park.

The group was 6 people, we were recorded, and videotaped, and it was really just a roundtable discussion about what type of things Disney could do to attract us to their resorts next vacation instead of staying offsite.

I can't talk about the specific items Disney is currently thinking about, but I can say that my group stressed that early entry is a resort perk that we all missed for various reasons. They have a lot of very interesting ideas in the works for their resorts, I hope to seem some of them implemented soon.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that when visiting it may be worth your time to answer the research people just inside the front gates. Not only did I get an easy $100 of Disney gift certificates (which I applied to my room), but also was able to hear about some of the new resort ideas and express my feelings to help improve things there.

Thanks for sharing AND for putting in the good word for EE!

Very cool dtauer!

I am anxious to hear of any of the things that were presented to you will come into being and what they might be.
:)

Keep pushing the EE! We were there last week and when anyone asked if we were on sight......we told then no, not until EE returns!

Nice to "see" you Deputy Disney! Hope that you had a great trip! :)

Cool! I'd love to give Disney my opinions!!:bounce:

Thanks for sharing. I think it would be interesting to participate in a discussion on WDW. I've always just said 'No Thanks' to people wanting to do surveys; I may just have to rethink that response.

A friend of mine works in the research dept. taking these surveys in WDW. PLEASE answer the few questions they ask - they need the input in order to change things. They may ask a few specific questions, but if I remember correctly, you can add additional comments at the end - here's where you say what is on your mind! She told me that alot of guests just answer the quick questions and don't add any comments - she wishes that they did so more often.

I am another fan of EE and would love to know if they are considering bringing it back. I have always said that after staying on-site I would never go off-site again. But, with the deep discounts available off-site and the lack of EE I am seriously thinking about changing my position.

We were asked if we wanted to participate in an email survey and I said SURE. However we were there in late July and I have yet to receive anything from them. I did watch her type my email to make sure it was right.

3 years ago the same thing happened to us. We got $100 for answering some questions. 6 people in total. We missed out on 2 hours at the parks but ended up with 2 really nice sweatshirts to remember our trip!

we were stopped once to view commercials and were only given 2 Disney Dollars. It only took about 30 minutes and we were happy to do it but I was surprised when he whipped out $2. He said "now here's the good part" - I thought "oh boy a free meal or dessert or something exciting." Shoot....$2 won't buy you coke.

Anyway, who cares. It was fun. Our session was just me and hubby and one CM. It was backstage in the Land Pavillion. Which, by the way, is very very 70's looking back there. More so that you can imagine.

DH and I spent over an hour watching a preview tv show in MGM and got ZIP! Next time we are approached I'll simply ask if there are any perks involved for our time. If not, we'll pass.

I recently got an online survey from Disney:they're teaming up with Visa and you would earn some type of points based on your monthly statement balance towards various Disney related items. It took about 1/2 hour and they're sending me $10 for my time.

Cool.... I got stopped at MK and Animal King and asked if I had had an internet connection and if I wanted to take a survey. When I got home I have 2 emailes for the surveys.
