Receivec my termination letter today but....

this is REALLY weird..

It did specifically list the dates that I was out for the kidney stone (in January) and the pnuemonia in February - (both of which I have doctors notes for) BUT..................

HE is listed as the "supervisor" of my department! (Remember how I posted about MY supervisor that has been out for 3 weeks because a member of her family was dying? And I was afraid that when she goes back her job will be GONE???)

This does NOT look good..

"He" had the audacity to "thank me" for my service at "XXXX" and then went on to "wish me luck" and inform me that if I have any personal belongings in my desk I need to call ahead of time to make arrangements to retreive them.... Guess he must be afraid I'll show up there unannounced with a bomb or something..LOL

So I take it this is the type of company that you get fired if you are sick. I remember when I came back from marternity leave and had a new boss. She didn't like it that I couldn't work till seven and eight at night (it was a bank and the lobby closed at four I was a loan officer). Then DD and I both became sick with a really bad sinus infection where I was out for three days. She insisted that I needed to come to work. Well, her boss (the regional guy) came in on that very day. He knew who I was b/c I made the bank lots and lots of money and asked why I was at work. (She was standing right there). I told him that xxx (my boss) told me that I HAD to come in. He gave her one of those looks and told me to go home and come back when I was feeling better.

Ann I would keep the letter and the Dr.'s notes as documention. I hope you feel better really soon!
