receipt on DDP

Does anyone know when you are on the DDP do the restaurants give you an itemized receipt so that you can keep track of what you had or do you need to bring a notepad to keep track? I know this may seem like a weird question but when we get back everyone will want to know.

Yep, you DO get a receipt when you use the DDP that shows how many credits you have left. For example, when I used a snack credit I would get a receipt showing "5 SNACK Cpns Remain" I was worried about the same thing, but it was a breeze to actually be on the plan while we were there....the only thing is that the copy the server keeps shows the price but the copy you get shows $0, so if you want to keep track of what the meal actually cost, you should write it down on your notepad or somewhere when they have you sign the check that shows what it actually would cost you if you weren't on the DDP. (I know our Kona Cafe meal was $120+ on the servers copy, but my copy shows $0)

Another thing I worried about was using the credits I had leftover the day we checked out - they are supposed to be good until midnght of the day you checkout, but I was worried and thought there might be a problem using them. I shouldn't have worried - they were good throughout that day with absolutely no problems!

Was the receipt itemized and show what you ate or did it just say for example 3 TS $0.

It depended on the restaurant. Some listed the items, some just listed the credits.

when you get your bill at the restaurant; you will get two copies. one that you sign that shows prices and all and one (your copy) that shows what you got but not the prices. at that time I copy price from original to my copy so that I can keep up with what the total would have been if I had to pay it myself
