We rebooked onboard in Sept.2004,but we wanted to cruise in 2006, so we just picked a date so we could get the discounts and changed the dates when 2006 dates were out. You definiteily want to rebook while onboard to get the good rates.

so let me get this straight...you pick a random date (as far back as possible?), and when 2007 dates come out, (which would be the end of this year), you change it to the date you want (in 2007), correct? :flower:

We were on the ship in Feb 2004, wanting to cruise in October 2006. We booked the same week in 2005, then moved it to 06 when the dates came out.

However, I recommend picking a date in a similar rate range.

We wanted to book for xmas 2005 at xmas 03.

We used Easter 05 as the date, since the rates would be similar.

When the dates came out for xmas they were within $15 of the rate we had.

That's why we picked the same time frame, too. But because of early booking, ours came down by a few hundred!
