rebooking ding

OK what is the process for using a lower Ding.

I have my flights now but if a lower Ding comes up what do I do. Do I rebook on the Ding site? How do I get the credit?

You will have to cancel your present reservations and rebook using the credit you will get from SW. If there is any remainder it will stay out there as a credit for future travel. Future must be completed within one year of the original booking.

This works best if you open 2 windows. Once you get to the payment screen on your new flight go to the other window and cancel the old one. Credit should be available immediately for you to use as payment on the new flight. Worked great for me!

I just did this yesterday when I received a lower ding. I called SW and while she was canceling my first flight....I had the new flight information filled out and ready to go. I clicked on "apply credits"...or something like that and it worked like a charm. Goodluck!
