reassurance please...

My wife and I are both nurses, I am a mental health nurse, (neck up) and my wife is a proper nurse, general trained.

This quote made me smile ;) My ex was a mental health nurse and always referred to me as a 'proper' nurse . Thing was he was always a much more conscientious nurse than I ever was............. :lmao:

I managed to terrify myself last year, when I developed pain and skin discolouration in my breast :sad2:
Despite my GP telling me that I had nothing to worry about I needed extra reassurance and paid for a private consultation, and mammogram :confused3
Thankfully everything was fine, and I realised I'd spent a whole lot of extra cash than was necessary but hey-whatever puts your mind at rest ;)

If I hadn't been a nurse (a little knowledge can be pretty lethal) I'm sure I'd have been a whole lot happier sooner :goodvibes

Hi Carol
Glad to hear you are ok. I know from friends and family being in that situation how worrying it is.
Take care

Sorry I only just saw this but glad that you had the sense to get it checked and it appears that all will be ok. You are a very brave lady and can not imagine what it must have felt like to sit there. sending you lots of :grouphug: that everything is ok from now on and sorry i couldn't offer support sooner,
Claire xx

Glad you are ok. It is a reminder to us all that we should check ourselves on a regular basis so we catch these things early. :grouphug:
