Reasons you love being an AP

We are in the uk and have annual passes for the first time (purchased in may)

We are returning in late sept/oct and it made us very happy to become part of the AP family.

Looking forward to discounts,free parking and hoping to attend toy story land event.

I'm not technically a Passholder yet, but I'm upgrading when I go in October! I retired last October and this year we are making our first trip in seven years. Since I can pretty much pack up and go whenever I want to, I decided to upgrade and make up for lost time. I already have another trip booked for February and am even thinking about sneaking in a quick trip during the holidays to see all the decorations. Then I'll probably go again in September 2019, with possibly another trip (or two or three ) squeezed in between!

Does it lose the special feel of Disney going so much?

Nope! I grew up 15 minutes from Disneyland in California - went all the time. We have been going to WDW as a family multiple times each year since 2002. Our trips have changed through the years and once our couple-only trips became the norm the way we vacationed drastically changed. We stopped feeling like we had to do everything and our trips became very relaxed. We actually prefer our time at WDW much more now!

I completely agree Being able to go to WDW whenever you wish, brings a new joy, peace and pleasure to the experience. If a stand-by line is too long and we do not have a FP, no problem, we will catch it next time.......just wonderful! To stop and watch a street show or take all the time you want at lunch and dinner is great. For us, being FL Resident AP holders makes the trip to WDW even more magical. It never gets old, we can pick and choose when we go and we can enjoy as little or as much as we want on each visit.
