Reasonalbe budget?

I am trying different options for our trip in 06. Does this seem reasonable?

$700 (airline tix for 3 from Albany NY)
$300 (resort thru skyauctions RSG-unless I could luck out w/code for mod)
$200 (Rental car)
$647 (MYW tix, 5 day expiry w/hopper: 2 adults 1 child)
$500 (Food)
$100 (Souv.)

Grand total $2447

My Goal is to keep this vacation around $2500. We would be going during NY school vacation time, Feb break (Pres week) or Spring break (last week in April). Whatcha think?

Looks pretty accurate to me, although I'm not familiar with skyauctions. What's the total length of your stay?

We will only be in Orlando for 4 nights/5 days, I think. The skyauction resorts are for a full week, but we wouldn't stay. We have family about 1 1/2 hrs from Orlando that we ususally spend a day or two with.

I am thinking about flying into MCO and flying out of Tampa (family 45min from there). Would sets of one way tix be more expensive?

I think for 4 night/5 days your budget certainly looks reasonable, & maybe even with a little to spare .

I know that the when I looked into that, one way tickets were typically more expensive, but it depended on the airline. Don't know if you have Air Tran, but I know when I was shopping around I could get 2 one way tickets from them for the same price that I could get a round trip ticket b/c of the way they sell the tickets. You might want to check some of the airline web sites & see if you can get lucky.
