"reasonable" priced Dallas Cowboy tickets Where???

I am wanting to surprise my husband and son with tickets to a Dallas Cowboys football game, but I am having some troubles. The official site does not have any available. So I went to the exchange site where individuals sell them and also on ebay. Oh my, the prices are outrageous. No way will I pay those prices.

Can anyone give me some suggestions on where to find tickets where I'm not paying double or triple the price of the ticket?

Please help me.

Have you tried stubhub.com? It is another option. Sometimes the prices are not too bad. I am a diehard Cowboy fan, too.

The prices are CRAZY! My hubby is a Bears fan and I wanted to get him tix for the game that they play in Dallas this month. Unless prices come down drastically, I will be loking for a different birthday present idea! good luck in your search!

I have done this for Pittsburgh Steelers home games. Wait until the Thursday before a home game and check ticketmaster.com. What happens is the home team needs to provide the visiting team with tickets so players and team officials can give them to "family". What the visiting team does not use, they return to the home team. In the case of the Steelers, they release them on ticketmaster at face value. Looking at the Cryboys schedule, your best bet would be the Jacksonville or Detriot games. Those 2 would probably not be as popular. Good Luck and GO STEELERS!

Do you live in the DFW area? are you looking for tickets to a specific game date?? I do live in the area and I know from time to time some of my friends will put on facebook that they have tickets to games and most recently one of my friends from high school was selling tickets for $50 per ticket as they werent gonna make it.. I guess they have season tickets.. I can always check and see if they have any extras they might be willing to sell if I knew what you were looking for.. also how many tickets? 2 or 3?

It's not ideal because it's last minute, but any unsold tickets for sale by season ticket holders on the ticket exchange will usually drop in price right before the game.

The other option is to buy directly from a season ticket holder that you or are friend/family member know. They will usually sell it at face value, plus it won't have those extra fees added on.
