Romantic Escape at Sea package..a little something you can add on for you and hubby. It comes with a few perks, like being able to make your Palo reservation ahead of time, a couples spa treatment, breakfast in bed, romantic basket in the room, a special turndown one night..etc.

REAS = Romantic Escape At Sea package

I don't know the current price (it's on the DCL website or maybe someone here knows). You get to pre-book Palo, a couple's massage, welcome basket with champagne/chocolates/picture frame, a rose-petal turn down service one night, and a full breakfast delivered to your room (with champagne). When you pre-book Palo, you can also request your dining rotation (not guaranteed), and book brunch at Palo. We did it on our last cruise and it was worth every penny.

Hey Nancy! My DH and I did REAS on our cruise last October - it was very nice but it only cost $299 then, the cost has gone up to $339 now.

The price includes dinner one night at Palo (the $10 per person charge is included in the package but you'll still want to tip your server), a couples massage at the spa, a romantic turndown service in your room the night you have dinner at Palo, champagne breakfast in bed one morning, and a romance basket delivered to your room the day the ship sails (basket includes a 4x6 photo album that holds about 50 pictures, a small box of chocolates, and a bottle of champagne).

I agree with the previous poster - the best part about REAS is that you can make your dinner, brunch, and afternoon tea reservations at Palo prior to sailing.

We really liked the package but once was enough for us, especially with the jump in price.

Thanks so much for clarifying that!!! It would be nice for us since we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, but I already spent enough for this cruise. I don't think I could squeeze another $300.00+ for it.

Do cast members get a discount off of the price?
