I've read a couple posts about booking the REAS package. Is this something that you normally book after you've already got the cruise reserved and paid for? It sounds like something I would really like to do, especially since you can reserve your Palo and spa times before you board the ship?
If I decided to do the REAS would I have to pay for it up front or would it be added to the shipboard account? :boat:

You have to pay for the REAS at the time your final payment is made. So, if you're already paid off your cruise, you'd have to pay for it now. If you haven't, you'll just have a higher balance come final payment day. We did the REAS on our 11/6/04 cruise and it was GREAT. It was nice not having to worry about making all the ressies once on board, but we're not booking if for our 7/9/05 cruise. We'll just do the ressie rush once on board, since we felt we didn't really use the other items (other than the spa and Palo ressies). They've also raised the price from when we booked it by $40, and since we don't really drink, the champagne basket and chanpagne brunch was a waste for us. So, for us, we end up paying about $100 more for REAS now, definately not worth it for us now. It was definately nice, and I would recommend it.

if you're not drinkers, you might be able to ask for sparkling cider instead of champagne....

We did, but the request never made it to DCL, or if it did wasn't honored for some reason.

We added it on to our cruise after we booked and paid the deposite. It was added into our price from Dreams Unlimited. I can't wait for it. Also we were allowed to book Palo Brunch and Tea. We were told these two would be charged to our stateroom account while on board.

Oh and GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!! We are headed to Tampa on Friday for the game.
