REAS Question

Is the Reas worth the money? Just wondering if I should spend the $ on this or plan stuff myself...

IMO no. We booked the REAS package for our Nov 4, 2004 cruise and didn't book it for our 7/9/05 cruise because we thought it to be a waste. You pay for almost everything and maybe save about $10 or so, including the in-room ammenity which isn't worth $60. The turndown is nice as is the breakfast. IMO, we saved money this trip because we just payed for Palo ourselves $20 and the massage $242. We didn't use the gift and seemed like wasted money. Also, the HUGE advantage to REAS before was that you could pre-book your Palo ressies. Now, all you get is an advantage on on-line booking. You can now pre-book at 105 days. Castaway Club members can book at 90 days (which I am) and first time cruisers at 75 days. So, for a repeat cruiser like myself, not much of an advantage. I'll never book it again.

we will purchase it again for our cruise next year. it was worth it to us. I loved the romantic turn down- the breakfast was a huge hit with the kiddos. I did like the gift- dd has the mickey basket in her room, the photo album for our pics and the champagne for a special occasion when we returned home. I'll take advantage of the 105 day mark to book also

Can anyone who cruised lately tell me if you have bought the REAS package if one person can use both the massages instead of the one for couples because I really do not enjoy them but my DH loves them. Also what is included in the spa taster for two. Thanks

I can't comment on whether you can do two massages instead of one, but can comment on the spa taster. The spa taster is a 25 minute back only massage and a 25 minute mini-facial. It is wonderful!! By the way, you both don't have to pick the same thing, you can pick the spa taster and your DH can pick the massage.

Last year one person could do two massages, if one did not want to. I did REAS last year, and bought it again this year for my November cruise. The 105 day reservation makes sure that I will be able to get the times I want.
